2. What these terms cover
These Terms of Sale apply to orders you place through this website. They describe how an order is placed and accepted, how payment and delivery work, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Ambimat also supplies customers outside this website — by quotation, purchase order, proforma invoice and direct commercial settlement. Where a supply is covered by a separate written quotation, purchase order or agreement, that document governs that supply, not these Terms of Sale. Nothing on this website varies terms you have separately agreed with us in writing.
3. Products and how they are sold
Not every product shown on this site is sold through the online checkout.
- RoboRacer Power Boards are sold through the checkout on this website.
- RoboRacer Core Kit and RoboRacer Core Kit Pro are not sold through the checkout. They are supplied against an Ambimat quotation. To request one, email roboracer@ambimat.com with your requirements and we will prepare a quotation manually, together with the applicable commercial and ordering information.
Product descriptions, images and specifications are provided to describe the product. We may correct errors in a description, price or availability at any time before we accept your order.
4. Prices, taxes and duties
Prices on this website are shown in US dollars (USD). The price payable is the price displayed at the time your order is submitted.
Any customs duties, import taxes, clearance charges or other levies raised in the destination country are payable by you and are not included in the price shown. Bank, correspondent-bank or intermediary charges raised on a transfer are the buyer's responsibility.
A processing and handling charge of 6% is added to every order placed through this website. It is calculated on the order value including shipping, it is the same whichever payment method you choose, and it is shown as a separate line in your cart and at checkout before you confirm the order. It covers payment-processing and handling costs raised by our payment and banking partners; it is not a postage charge, and shipping is billed separately. See our Shipping Policy.
5. Placing an order and when it is accepted
Submitting an order through the checkout is an offer to buy. It does not by itself create a contract.
An order confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order. A contract is formed when we accept your order — by confirming acceptance or by dispatching the product, whichever happens first. If we cannot accept your order, we will tell you and refund any amount already taken.
6. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. Card and payment credentials are handled by that provider; Ambimat does not receive or store your card details.
We may decline or cancel an order where payment is not successfully completed, or where we reasonably believe the order is fraudulent or mistaken.
7. Delivery
Processing times, shipping charges, international shipping and tracking are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Delivery timescales are estimates and are not guaranteed dates.
Please make sure your delivery address is correct when you place your order. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address supplied by you.
8. Cancellation, returns and refunds
Cancellation, returns and refunds are governed by our Returns, Refunds and Order Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: an order may be cancelled only while payment has not yet been completed, and except where a return, refund, replacement or other remedy is required by applicable law, sales are final.
Nothing in these terms or in that policy removes or limits any right or remedy you have that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under Indian consumer law or the mandatory law of your own country where that applies to you.
9. Product condition
All products are tested before shipment to confirm that they are functioning prior to dispatch.
Beyond that, and beyond any warranty expressly given in writing for a specific supply, we do not give additional warranties about the products through this website. This does not affect your rights under section 8.
10. Our responsibility to you
We do not exclude or limit our responsibility to you where it would be unlawful to do so.
Where a supply is made under a separate written quotation, purchase order or agreement, the responsibilities and remedies for that supply are those set out in that document.
11. Privacy
Personal information you give us when ordering — such as your name, contact details, delivery address and order history — is used to process and deliver your order, to provide support, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or with an order placed through this website, are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory right you may have to bring proceedings elsewhere, the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India have jurisdiction.
